About the Role
As a Respiratory Therapist II (RRT), you will be responsible for performing therapist-driven protocols, patient assessments, administration of medications, and evaluating patient responses to therapies. You will document performance and results of therapies, maintain the Order Entry and Charging system, assist with data collection for Continuous Quality Improvement, supervise and train new employees, and maintain Respiratory Care Department equipment.
About You
Required:
- Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have completed Level I and II therapist competency requirements.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure by the State of Michigan.
- Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- At least six (6) months of clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
- BCLS certification.
