About the Role
As a Respiratory Therapist III, you will be responsible for assessing and adjusting respiratory therapies, providing training to staff, and responding to emergencies. You will also perform diagnostic tests and maintain a supportive atmosphere for quality care and staff development.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an approved school of respiratory therapy or equivalent training.
- 3+ years of hospital experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Experience in an acute care environment with expertise in blood gas laboratory management.
- Patient care skills for neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
- Ability to communicate effectively and document thoroughly.
Preferred:
- Intubations and airway management for all populations served.
- Ventilator management for all populations served.
- Arterial line placements.
- Demonstrated exceptional clinical skills with potential leadership qualities.
- Level II & III NICU experience.
