About the Role
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for ensuring patient safety, promoting evidence-based practices, and providing quality care to patients and their families. Your duties will include administering therapeutic procedures, conducting diagnostic tests, maintaining patient records, precepting new employees, and collaborating with healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
About You
Required:
- Successful completion of a 2 or 4 year Respiratory Care Program.
- Ohio Respiratory Care Professional License and National Board of Respiratory Care credential (RRT or CRT).
- Clinical experience in adult and neonatal respiratory therapy procedures.
- Current BLS certification.
Preferred:
- Experience with mechanical ventilation and emergency care.
- Ability to interpret arterial blood gases.
