About the Role
As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for recommending and providing respiratory therapy treatments, monitoring patients on mechanical ventilation, performing diagnostic tests, and maintaining respiratory therapy equipment. You will also respond to emergency calls, consult with physicians, and participate in in-service education programs.
About You
Required:
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist certificate.
- Current NYS license as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Current BCLS certification.
Preferred:
- Experience in acute, chronic, and critical care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
- ACLS certification.
- NYFD G-71 certificate.
- Active member of AARC and NYDART.
