About the Role
As a Respiratory Therapist, Reg I, you will be responsible for initiating and conducting therapeutic procedures, maintaining patient records, and operating respiratory care equipment. You will demonstrate competency in respiratory therapeutics, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team. Additionally, you will provide care appropriate to the patient's age and medical condition, and instruct clinical practicum students.
About You
Required:
- Associate of Science in Respiratory Care or Cardiopulmonary Sciences.
- Eligibility for the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) exam.
- Current license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the State of Florida Department of Health.
- Current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
Preferred:
- Basic computer/mechanical training.
