About the Role
As a Respite House Parent, you will provide 24-hour support and supervision for foster youth, ensuring their physical, emotional, educational, social, spiritual, and cultural needs are met. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess the needs of the youth, implement care plans, and maintain professional relationships with various stakeholders. The position requires overnight stays in program homes and may involve travel to various locations for support and activities.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Minimum of two years experience working with children and families, preferably in a mental health or child welfare setting.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in human services or related field.
- Prior residential/house parent experience or previous foster parent experience.
