About the Role
About You
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering or Equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience working as a design and release Engineer for Restraints Commodities, preferably with steering wheel and driver airbag restraints.
- Master's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering or Equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in steering wheel design, including proficiency with studio interface tools.
- Working knowledge of Regulatory and Public Domain Requirements including FMVSS, IIHS, etc.
- Working Knowledge of simulation and testing methodologies for restraints and safety systems.
- Good program management skills with the ability to manage several assignments simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others as part of a team.
- Significant problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing and Assembly operations.
