About the Role
As a Retail Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for processing prescriptions, managing inventory, operating the pharmacy register, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. You will assist with insurance claims, maintain a clean work environment, and provide excellent customer service while adhering to Minnesota Board of Pharmacy regulations and HIPAA requirements.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED; at least 18 years of age.
- Current Pharmacy Technician MN license.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Minnesota Board of Pharmacy regulations and technician scope of practice.
- Experience with insurance billing processes and third-party payers.
- Familiarity with common pharmacy medications, dosages, and medical terminology.
