About the Role
As a Retirement Plan Operations Specialist, you will learn the full process of administering 401(k) plans, including document review, client communication, and government filing preparation. Your responsibilities will include obtaining necessary information from clients, reviewing submitted documents for accuracy, reconciling plans, and preparing required filings such as the IRS Form 5500.
About You
Required:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Skills in customer service, organization, and collaboration.
- Adequate math and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Preferred:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (business, finance, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
- Basic knowledge of 401(K) plan structure, ROBS, and IRS/DOL Regulations.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.
- Ability to create an inclusive workplace.
