About the Role
As a Revenue Cycle Management Specialist, you will be responsible for obtaining, tracking, and updating pre-certifications and authorizations, preparing and submitting clean claims electronically, monitoring and correcting claims rejections, following up on outstanding receivables, resolving insurance claim denials, ensuring accurate patient statements, and maintaining confidentiality of client information. You will also assist clinical staff in providing excellent customer service and perform other duties as required by the manager.
About You
Required:
- 3+ years of billing and collections experience.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- 2+ years of specific experience within the healthcare sector, especially mental health and behavioral health claims.
- Certified Professional Coder preferred.
