About the Role
As an Associate Staff RF Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and testing RF front-ends for communication and sensing prototypes, planning and documenting tests, setting up lab environments, and participating in field experiments and data collection. You will lead aspects of RF system design and integration efforts.
About You
Required:
- M.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related field.
- Experience with common RF and digital test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.).
- Exposure to software development and scripting (e.g. Python, Matlab).
- Exposure to test planning and execution of field experiments.
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and set priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with mixed-signal design for RF systems.
- Experience in the design, prototyping, and testing of RF front-ends for communications and sensing systems.
- Experience in the use of software defined radios for RF recording and prototyping.
- Experience with PCB layout and mixed signal design.
- Experience in system design using RF System-on-Chip technology.
- Experience in test planning and overseeing execution of field experiments.
