Summary
XP Power is seeking an RF Test Technician to join their team in Gloucester, MA. The role involves performing RF testing operations on various electronic components to ensure they meet specifications and customer requirements.
About the Role
As an RF Test Technician, you will be responsible for testing, diagnosing, reworking, and verifying RF sub-components and final electronic products. You will utilize ECO information and PDM systems, collaborate with test engineering, and document product repair changes. Your role will also involve preparing detailed reports, engaging in process improvement activities, and maintaining reliable attendance.
About You
Required:
- 3-5 years’ experience as a test technician.
- Associates Degree in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Electronics test, troubleshooting, and repair experience.
- Ability to work from electrical schematics and use standard electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) in English.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Preferred:
- Experience testing and diagnosing electronic products, power supplies, and related products.
- Military electronics experience.
- Intermediate level skill with Excel for data collection and analysis.
- Familiarity with PDM (Product Data Management) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
