About the Role
As a Rheumatology Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for executing sales strategies, maintaining effective communication with healthcare professionals, and managing territory business needs. You will analyze market conditions, develop plans for speaker programs, and ensure compliance with regulations while fostering a strong ethical reputation for the company.
About You
Required:- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum of 3 years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience required; 2+ years of Specialty/Rheumatology experience preferred for Consultant I
- Minimum of 5 years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience with a minimum of 3 years Specialty/Rheumatology experience required for Consultant II
- Minimum of 7-10 years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience with a minimum of 5-7 years Specialty/Rheumatology experience required for Sr. Consultant
- Strong communication skills are required
- Ability to travel with overnights and attend some weekend programs
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and other relevant applications
Preferred:- Experience in account management and collaborating with clinical educators and specialty pharmacies
- Track record of working within a high performing team and a cross functional matrix environment
- Ability to translate key scientific information to a broad range of customers
