About the Role
As a Rheumatology Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for executing sales strategies, maintaining effective communication with healthcare professionals, analyzing territory information, and managing programs and budgets. You will also develop plans to maximize speaker and marketing programs, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide administrative support.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience required; 2+ years of Specialty/Rheumatology experience preferred for Consultant I.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience with a minimum of 3 years Specialty/Rheumatology experience required for Consultant II.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience with a minimum of 5-7 years Specialty/Rheumatology experience required for Sr. Consultant.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to travel with overnights and attend some weekend programs.
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and other relevant applications.
Preferred:
- Experience in a high performing team and cross-functional matrix environment.
- Track record of account management and collaboration with clinical educators and specialty pharmacies.
- Ability to translate key scientific information to a broad range of customers.
