About the Role
As an Assistant Counselor, you will assist the County Counselor in providing legal advice on various matters including contractual agreements, tax foreclosure cases, and human resources issues. You will represent the County in civil suits, draft legal documents, and collaborate with different departments to enforce zoning and sanitary codes.
About You
Required:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Kansas Bar Association.
Preferred:
Experience in government or public sector law.
Familiarity with local government operations and regulations.
