About the Role
As a RISE Program Facilitator, you will be responsible for providing supervision for students in the classroom, taking daily attendance, reviewing policies and procedures, establishing behavior parameters, and working with students on behavior management. You will also monitor assignments, provide instructional assistance, and collaborate with the school administrative team on issues of school climate and safety.
About You
Required:
A New Jersey substitute teaching certificate.
Knowledge of school and classroom rules, procedures, and practices.
Ability to interpret and establish appropriate rules and techniques for maintaining a disciplined academic environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and patience.
Experience working with students and knowledge of conflict resolution techniques.
Preferred:
Knowledge of restorative practices.
Experience working in education, law enforcement, social services, or a related field.
