Summary
Watershed Security is seeking an RMF Practitioner - ISSS III to join their team in Norfolk, VA. The role involves managing the full maintenance lifecycle for multiple RMF Packages and ensuring they retain their ATOs.
About the Role
As an RMF Practitioner, you will be part of a multifaceted team providing RMF Support to the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic. Your responsibilities will include managing RMF Packages, ensuring compliance with security requirements, and maintaining operational security posture for information systems.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in technical or managerial related discipline or High School Diploma or GED.
- Must have 8570/8140 IAT III or IAM III certification.
- 5 years of relevant experience (Bachelors), 7 years of relevant experience (HS/GED).
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process and Information Assurance tools.
- DoD Top Secret Clearance.
Preferred:
- Deep understanding of Navy RMF (Navy RPG) with an emphasis on package maintenance.
- Strong communication, problem solving, and customer engagement skills.
- Familiarity with security policies & guidance documents for compliance with Authority to Operate (ATO) requirements.
- Experience in evaluating security solutions for classified information processing.
