About the Role
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Weekend Option, you will be responsible for providing direct resident care, ensuring comfort, monitoring conditions, administering medications, and performing wound care. You will also educate residents and their families about health management and advocate for their rights and well-being, contributing to a safe and supportive environment.
About You
Required:
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Indiana.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience in direct resident care, including medication administration and wound care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team during weekend shifts.
Preferred:
- Previous work experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting.
- Strong communication and resident advocacy skills.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
