AdventHealth is seeking an RN - Emergency Department - Nights to join their team in Lampasas, TX. The role involves evaluating patients in the Emergency Room and prioritizing care based on the Emergency Severity Index (ESI) tool.
About the Role
As an RN in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for assessing patients upon arrival, assigning them to appropriate treatment areas, performing and documenting procedures, and intervening in cases of suspected abuse or neglect. You will also recognize potential emergency situations and implement preventive measures.
About You
Required:
- Associate's degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse (RN) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS).
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS).
- Trauma Nurse Course Certified (TNCC).
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
