About the Role
As an RN in the Float Pool, you will support diverse populations by floating primarily to post-surgical orthopedic/spine units, medical-surgical units, the Emergency Department, and other areas as needed. Your responsibilities will include direct nursing care, implementing and updating patient care plans, monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and educating patients and their families.
About You
Required:
- Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program).
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross.
- One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Two years of RN experience.
- Healthcare experience from nursing home or inpatient care.
