About the Role
As an RN in the Forensic/SANE unit, you will collect forensic evidence, provide follow-up services, perform medical assessments, and collaborate with various agencies. You will work night shifts and participate in an on-call schedule, responding to emergencies as needed.
About You
Required:
- Current state licensure as Registered Nurse (RN)
- One year of recent RN work experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or American Red Cross
- Completion of an IAFN approved SANE Adolescent/Adult course within 60 days of hire
- Completion of an IAFN approved SANE Pediatric course within 1 year of hire for incumbents hired after April 1, 2018
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience in Trauma, Women’s Health, or Pediatrics
