About the Role
As an RN in the Inpatient Ortho and Trauma unit, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes. You will collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and revise interdisciplinary care plans, administer treatments and medications, and educate patients and families. The role requires you to advocate for patients' rights and provide psychological and cultural support while contributing to performance improvement activities.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program eligible for Virginia RN licensure.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or eligible to obtain licensure.
- AHA BLS-HCP certification required.
Preferred:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EPIC).
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP based on specific work unit.
