UW Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Inpatient Perioperative Weekender position at University Hospital in Madison, WI. This part-time role involves working every Saturday and Sunday from 6:30pm to 7:00am.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in the Inpatient Perioperative team, you will be an integral part of a surgical team performing multispecialty procedures. You will manage the operating room, with responsibilities including circulating and scrubbing during surgeries. The role requires flexibility as hours may vary based on departmental needs.
About You
Required:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- 6 months of recent independent PACU, Emergency Department, or Surgical Critical Care experience
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care
- Basic Life Support/CPR certification
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- 3 years of recent Operating Room or PACU experience
