UNM Sandoval Regional Medical Center is seeking an RN - INPATIENT to join their team in Rio Rancho, NM. The role involves providing direct nursing care to assigned patients and clinical leadership for other staff.
About the Role
As an RN - INPATIENT, you will work within the nursing process to deliver safe direct care to patients across various age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to implement individualized care plans, assist with special tests and procedures, and maintain a safe therapeutic environment. Additionally, you will participate in orientation and precepting of new personnel, administer medications, and ensure adherence to hospital policies and patient safety protocols.
About You
Required:
- Program Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Current RN license in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement.
- CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Nationally Certified in area of specialty.
