About the Role
As an RN in the Medical Float Pool, you will deliver direct nursing care, implement and monitor patient care plans, and communicate patients' conditions effectively. You will work with diverse patient populations and assist in their healthcare education while collaborating with fellow caregivers. The position requires rotating shifts, including days and nights.
About You
Required:
- Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Two years of recent related nursing experience for external applicants
- Less than two years of experience, but post orientation/90-day probationary period considered with the Chief Nursing Officer approval for internal applicants OR military RN experience
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
