About the Role
As an RN in the Pre and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), you will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs, managing pain, addressing post-anesthesia side effects, and ensuring a safe recovery. You will provide direct nursing care, implement and evaluate patient care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and their families throughout the care journey.
About You
Required:
- Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
