About the Role
As an RN in the Transitional Care and Discharge Unit, you will be responsible for delivering direct nursing care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, administering medications, and educating patients and their families. You will work in a 12-bed unit aimed at improving patient throughput and ensuring a smooth transition for patients leaving the hospital.
About You
Required:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- One year of current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting OR licensed military RN experience
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
