About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in the 8E Medical-Surgical unit, you will be responsible for delivering nursing care through the nursing process, applying clinical knowledge and independent judgment to achieve quality patient care outcomes. You will assess and interpret patient data, create care plans, provide education, and ensure patient safety while working in a fast-paced inpatient hospital environment.
About You
Required:
- Current unencumbered licensure as a registered professional nurse with the WV Board of Registered Professional Nurses or appropriate state board.
- Less than 12 months of nursing experience.
- Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
Preferred:
- Experience in a medical-surgical nursing environment.
- Ability to demonstrate growth in caring for complex patients.
