About the Role
As an RN-After Hours / Weekend Nurse, you will be responsible for advocating for patients and ensuring they receive quality care. You will communicate with patients, their families, and the hospice care team, providing support and guidance. This position requires being on call after hours from 5pm on Friday to 8am Monday morning, with full support from a 24/7 RN staffed Triage Department.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a registered nurse.
- 2+ years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting (hospice experience preferred).
- Reliable transportation and ability to lift at least 80-100 lbs.
Preferred:
- Experience in hospice care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
