As the RN Assistant Director of Nursing NICU, you will collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop unit goals, manage nursing staff, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards. You will oversee patient care delivery, manage budgets, and promote quality and safety initiatives within the NICU. The position requires administrative authority and responsibility on a 24/7 basis, fostering a commitment to improving patient care outcomes.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a nationally accredited program.
- 3-4 years progressive NICU nursing care experience.
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure in Maryland.
- CPR certification for healthcare providers within 90 days.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Nursing or a health-related field.
- Recent leadership and management experience within an acute care/hospital setting.
- Specialty certification from a nationally recognized nursing organization.
