Cleveland Clinic is seeking an RN for the Observation Unit at Indian River Hospital in Vero Beach, FL. The role involves providing direct nursing care to patients requiring observation before discharge.
About the Role
As an RN in the Observation Unit, you will assist in providing a comfortable recovery space for patients, implement and evaluate care plans, monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and educate patients and their families. This position requires working nights from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
About You
Required:
- Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (must obtain within 90 days of hire)
