American Nurses Association is seeking a RN Certification Analyst to join their Certification department in Silver Spring, MD. The role involves ensuring candidates for ANCC board certification meet accreditation requirements for initial eligibility and renewal.
About the Role
As a RN Certification Analyst, you will analyze certification and recertification applications, review supporting documentation, communicate with applicants regarding eligibility requirements, and represent ANCC at events. You will also collaborate with Certification Associates and escalate complex issues as needed.
About You
Required:
- Current Registered Nurse License.
- Baccalaureate in Nursing or equivalent work experience.
- 4 years nursing experience.
- Registered nurse work experience (clinical or education).
- Experience working with databases, including data entry.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in conducting quality audits or credentialing.
- Skills in crisis management and/or de-escalating issues.
