About the Role
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the CVICU, you will be responsible for monitoring hemodynamic status, administering medications, performing assessments, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your duties will include developing individualized care plans, educating patients and families, participating in emergency response situations, and adhering to infection control protocols.
About You
Required:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Current RN license in the state of practice or compact state required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within timeframe specified by facility policy.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification within timeframe specified by facility policy.
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification.
- Minimum of six (6) months of experience in an acute care setting.
