About the Role
As the RN Director Psych, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice on a multi-unit level. You will assume 24/7 responsibility for the assigned areas and support the CNO in ensuring high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, as well as managing clinical staff competency and resources related to patient care.
About You
Required:
- Active and current registered nurse license in the state of residence/practice.
- MSN or Associate degree from an accredited nursing school with a bachelor's degree in a health care related field or a BSN.
- 5 years of Psychiatric nursing leadership experience.
- Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; CPR.
Preferred:
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven leadership ability and hospital operational ability.
- Ability to serve as a role model and advocate for the professional discipline of nursing.
