Saint Agnes Medical Center is seeking an RN Educator ICU/CVICU to join their team in Fresno, CA. The role involves supporting the provision of quality health care practice environments and fostering the development of nursing staff.

About the Role

As an RN Educator ICU/CVICU, you will provide staff development expertise as an educator, consultant, facilitator, change agent, leader, and researcher. You will support the development of bedside nurses and clinical support staff through the educational process, including assessment, development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of competency assessments and continuing education. You will also create a healthy, professional environment within the nursing division to meet diverse unit needs.

About You

Required:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing or related health field.
Three (3) years of specialty experience in the designated clinical area.
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
National certification in area of specialty within 18 months of hire.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS/NRP (where applicable).
Knowledge of adult learning principles and previous experience facilitating/coordinating/teaching education programs.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, teaching abilities, problem solving, and ability to navigate constant ambiguity and change.

Preferred:

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or other applicable master's degree.
National certification in Nursing Professional Development.
