About the Role
As an RN House Supervisor, you will review staffing and census of nursing units, facilitate patient admissions and flow, make rounds to assess and resolve issues, provide staff consultation, promote interpersonal relations, and assist in obtaining necessary equipment and supplies.
About You
Required:
- Thorough understanding of hospital policies, procedures and legal aspects of acute care nursing.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Basic computer skills.
- Associate's of Nursing.
- 3+ years experience in acute patient care.
- Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS).
Preferred:
- Previous nursing management experience.
- Previous experience with Cerner electronic medical record.
- Bachelor's of Nursing.
- Critical Care or Emergency Department experience.
