About the Role
As a New Graduate RN, you will participate in a yearlong residency program designed to support your transition from academia to practice. You will work on a 10-bed unit focused on crisis stabilization for pediatric patients, addressing their psychiatric, behavioral, medical, and psychosocial needs. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, implementation of care, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
About You
Required:
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina by the day of clinical care.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Must be in the final semester of nursing school or have graduated within the past 12 months.
Preferred:
- Experience in a clinical setting during nursing school.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
