Lutheran Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the NICU department to work full-time during the day on weekends in Fort Wayne, IN. The role involves providing patient-centered care in a Level 2 NICU environment.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in the NICU, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Your duties will include conducting patient assessments, administering medications, collaborating with healthcare teams, and providing education to patients and families. You will also respond to medical emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
About You
Required:
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required.
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
- Strong knowledge of the nursing process and clinical nursing practices.
Preferred:
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation preferred.
