About the Role
As Nurse Manager, you will lead RNs, LPNs, PA/APRNs, surgeons, hospitalists, and support staff. Responsibilities include managing hiring, training, performance, and compliance; developing department plans aligned with clinical priorities; promoting transformational leadership and continuous learning; ensuring safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care; supporting staff development and well-being; and maintaining regulatory and policy compliance.
About You
Required:
- Current RN license in Connecticut
- BSN from an accredited program
- BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Minimum 5 years of acute care nursing experience
- Leadership experience
Preferred:
- MSN degree
- Experience in acute care, medical-surgical, or cardiology nursing
