About the Role
As an RN in the Operating Room, you will demonstrate clinical competency, manage complex patients, and adapt care to rapidly changing conditions. You will implement the nursing process, operate patient care technology, and serve as a preceptor for new staff. Your responsibilities will also include participating in quality improvement activities and ensuring adherence to infection control procedures.
About You
Required:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
- Must hold American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
Preferred:
- BSN degree.
- One (1) year of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
- Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
