About the Role
As a Pre Admissions Nurse, you will be responsible for the teamwork and coordination of nursing care, including the collection and analysis of assessment data, determining nursing diagnoses, and developing plans of care in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary team members. You will implement interventions, evaluate patient progress, and document the care process, ensuring sensitivity to the unique needs of patients and families.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Minimum 2-year experience in a hospital setting
- Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff, physicians, vendors and the public
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptiveness to change, creativity and innovation
- Ability to adapt to change quickly, with strong knowledge of surgery procedures and management of surgical patients
- Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
- Excellent teaching skills
