About the Role
As a PreOp/PACU RN, you will be responsible for developing patient care plans, monitoring vital signs, managing post-anesthesia care, and participating in quality improvement projects. The position requires availability Monday to Friday and one Saturday a month, with some early mornings and later evenings.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Texas Nursing License
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Pre-Op/PACU
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
- Understanding of aseptic technique and its implementation
- Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics
Preferred:
- Previous experience working in an ambulatory surgical setting
