Summary
Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Mother Infant unit in Grove City, OH. The role involves providing care to new mothers and their infants during the labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in the Mother Infant unit, you will assess and evaluate patient care, assist providers with assessments and treatments, administer medications, educate patients and families, and document care accurately. You will also support new mothers in bonding and breastfeeding, and discharge them and their babies when ready.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage patient care
Preferred:
- Basic computer skills
- Prior experience using an EMR for charting
