About the Role
As an RN Registered Nurse - PACU, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and evaluating patients recovering from anesthesia. You will collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to establish mutual goals and ensure quality nursing care. Your duties will include monitoring patient conditions, managing pain, and delegating tasks to other care providers while adhering to ethical and professional standards.
About You
Required:
- Associates of Applied Science in Nursing (AAS) or RN Diploma.
- Licensed Registered Nurse obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date.
- Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date.
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date.
- Critical Care experience required.
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- PACU experience preferred.
