Peak Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The role involves providing nursing care to patients and supervising the care treatment provided by other staff.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patients' physical and behavioral health needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and ensuring patient safety. You will supervise the care provided by LPNs and CNAs, communicate with the interdisciplinary team, and report any changes in patient conditions. Your role will also include administering medications, maintaining medical records, and providing education to patients and their families.
About You
Required:
Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
Valid current RN license from the state or from a compact state.
Preferred:
One or more years’ nursing experience within clinical area of service provided by facility.
Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery environment.
Certified in Psychiatric Nursing.
CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification.
