Mount Sinai Morningside is seeking a part-time RN Transplant Coordinator to join their Renal Transplant Services team at Mount Sinai Hospital. The role involves coordinating clinical programs and services for transplant patients within the Transplantation Institute.

The Transplant Coordinator is responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary screening and evaluation of transplant patients, ensuring necessary lab tests are performed and updated, participating in transplant waiting list recommendations, educating patients on living donation and transplant medications, managing communication with transplant candidates, facilitating organ offers and on-call duties, following patients during hospitalization and outpatient follow-up, and collaborating with the transplant team and other healthcare professionals. The role also includes supporting nursing and hospital policies, maintaining clinical competence, participating in quality improvement and risk management activities, and assisting in staff recruitment and evaluations.
