Summary
Independence Health System is seeking an RN Weekend for the 6th Floor in Latrobe, PA. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for a designated group of patients while coordinating with the interdisciplinary health care team.
About the Role
As an RN Weekend, you will be responsible for maintaining professional knowledge, assuring quality of care, protecting patients and employees, documenting patient care services, and establishing a compassionate environment. You will also promote patient independence, maintain a safe working environment, and contribute to team efforts while ensuring the operation of equipment and managing nursing supplies inventory.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- One (1) year medical-surgical experience.
