About the Role
As an RN Weekend Supervisor, you will ensure that the highest practicable level of quality care is maintained in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. Your responsibilities will include supervising nursing staff, coordinating nursing services with other resident services, conducting compliance rounds, and ensuring adequate staffing. You will also assist the Director of Nursing in evaluating and directing nursing programs and activities.
About You
Required:
- Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing and meet all applicable Federal and State licensure requirements.
- At least 3 years of Nurse Management/Supervision experience required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other healthcare-related facility in a position of responsibility.
- Knowledgeable in general nursing standards of care and medical practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively and deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, and the general public.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Excellent nursing assessment, documentation, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy and knowledge of electronic documentation.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
