Iron County is seeking a full-time Road Maintenance Worker to join their team in Cedar City, UT. The role involves performing a variety of semi-skilled and skilled duties to build, repair, clear, and maintain Iron County roadways.
About the Role
As a Road Maintenance Worker, you will operate heavy equipment including backhoes, dump trucks, front end loaders, and snowplows. Your responsibilities will include maintaining roadways, performing emergency snow removal, and working on-call during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. You will also be required to lift heavy objects and transport equipment to job sites.
About You
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one (1) year of verifiable equipment operation, construction, or closely related job experience.
Must have Class A CDL.
Ability to perform heavy lifting up to and over 50 lbs.
Preferred:
Experience operating heavy equipment.
