Summary
Lochmueller Group is seeking a Roadway Design Project Engineer to join their team in Evansville, IN. The role involves working on various DOT and LPA roadway/highway projects and supporting project managers in planning and execution.
About the Role
As a Roadway Design Project Engineer, you will take a lead role in project planning, design, and implementation. Your responsibilities will include managing project tasks, budgets, schedules, and resources, delegating work to team members, coordinating with clients, performing detailed engineering analysis and design tasks, assisting with proposals or funding applications, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 8+ years of relevant civil engineering experience.
- Proficiency with project scheduling tools and software.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
- Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Valid Driver's License.
